About John Vincent

John has experience as a Surrey County and Reigate Borough Councillor and a Parliamentary Candidate. He's the 49 year-old Head of Safety Analysis and Research for the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) in Cologne. John is a well-travelled campaigner with a successful record. He's knowledgeable and active in policy making on subjects ranging from open government, agriculture, environmental, transport to defence issues.

He has been a member of the Liberal Democrat Federal Conference Committee and Federal Policy Committee. John is involved in piloting conference motions, chairing and participating in policy working groups.

John was born in Templecombe, Somerset. He went to school in small village called Horsington and the town of Wincanton in Somerset. He enjoys travel and helping his brother on the family livestock farm in Somerset. John is married to Sue. They have lived in Bristol, Cheltenham, Yeovil, Reigate, Cologne and Staines.
